When studying, I like to pop in my earbuds and listen to a bunch of nerdy stuff. Mostly I listen to music without lyrics, because otherwise I feel the need to sing along, and that’s discouraged in the library. Lyric-less music means soundtracks.
- Halo 3 ODST OST- jazzy orchestral with the occasional electric guitar. This pairs great with http://rainymood.com/. Come to think of it, anything on this list would sound better with rain and thunder.
- Deus Ex Human Revolution OST- electronic music provides great ambience.
- Deus Ex Original OST- same deal as above.
- Blade Runner OST- white noise is best noise.
- Beautiful Mind- finally, something that’s not a soundtrack! Instead, it’s particularly mellow elevator music.
I listen to cooler stuff in my spare time, I promise.
